Brief Description
Assorted manuscripts attributed to Leo Bestall from World War I.
a) A field service post card with Field Post Office 4 SP 16 post mark, addressed to Mrs R Bestall of Priestly Road, Napier. Card acknowledges her letter of 19 July and promises a letter to follow. Signed Leo Bestall and dated 4 September 1916.
b) A New Zealand Expeditionary Force Pass for Leo Bestall to go to Bournemouth from the 17 to 18 October 1918.
c) A rationing order booklet from 1918. Contains food stamps.
