A copy of The New Zealander number 2 dated 22 December 1916. Includes a sepia toned photograph of a family group on the beach and a note written by Leo Bestall on the reverse placing them at Brighton on New Year's Day 1916

Includes miscellaneous magazine and newspaper clippings that are undated on topics such as S E McCarthy from Napier who was chosen to be the captain of the Oxford - Cambridge tennis team to play America, the disbarring of young architects who have been away at war and an image from a magazine of the Duchess of Westminster riding a horse.
