Brief Description
Diaries and letters, 1932 to 1938. Documents were loose inside the cover of Diaries and letters - Aug 1917 to May 1918 by Leo Bestall.

a) There are six pages of lined paper, with four holes punched on left side, handwritten and dating from 30 June - 29 September 1938. The diary entries detail day to day business happenings, leisure activities and the build up to World War II.

b) Booklet titled: Another Night of Reminiscences at the NZEF Field Ambulances Reunion, held in Auckland, July 14, 1934 accompanied by a letter from Beccie dated 27 September, 1934. Booklet features poems and writing about World War I as well as extracts from messages received at the reunion and a list of attendees.

c) Letter by W D McWilliams, Secretary NZEF. Field Ambulance Reunion Committee acknowledging Bestall's letter expressing interest in a reunion.
