Brief Description
Speech and copies of a speech about Egypt by Leo Bestall.
a) Original copy of speech edited with remarks. The speech discusses the Church Missionary Society and Church Army work in Egypt, conditions in the hospitals and in general, Bestall's Coptic trip, Islam; and the future of the Church Missionary Society there. Undated, but states that Bestall has just returned from a two and a half year sojourn in the Middle East, which refers to his time there during World War II.
b) Speech on yellow paper and has headings handwritten in the margin.
c) A fragment of a speech in Bestall's handwriting, which is also about Egypt and describes the course of the Nile. It is written on the reverse of a piece of Waverley Hotel of Auckland note paper.
