About this object
A notebook and train ticket attributed to Leo Bestall circa 1939.

a) Notebook of Leo Bestall. Inside front cover is an oval label which reads: Imprimerie Papeterie F Bagani Fabrique de Registers. Contains miscellaneous notes, mostly names and addresses, lists, appointments of an unknown year and what appear to be Egyptian words which would date the notebook from either his time there during World War Two.

b) Train ticket printed with text in both English and Arabic. English text reads: Cairo to Kantara 1 Class 05495.
