Brief Description
Two manuscripts attributed to Leo Bestall circa 1941.
a) An incomplete set of a draft copy entitled: Doing the Sights with a pencil drawn cover page and one page of typed notes.
b) Two identical copies of the published pamphlet entitled: Doing the Sights - Hints and Tips for Diggers Abroad. Gives a brief history on regions and tips on attending museums, art galleries, and viewing architecture for the uninitiated.
Issued by the Church of England Military Affairs Committee for the National Fund Board of New Zealand on August 31, 1941.
