Brief Description

a) 1932 sales advertisement detailing the items on sale in each department (Dress, Hosiery, Fancy and Manchester departments), their usual price and the sale price. Lists the address as of the store as Clive Square, Napier.

b) 1958 Sales advertisement entitled: Bestall's Closing Down Clearance Sale Commencing Tomorrow, Tuesday 1 July 1958. It states that the business was sold to Robert Magill Limited and that as of August the business will be located in the Regent Theatre Building. The advert details the specials in each department with their usual and sale prices. The address is listed as Hastings Street, Napier.

c) Undated advertorial mounted on card featuring a photograph of the Bestall's Drapers Limited interior and the exterior window display. This article is entitled: An Old-Established But Modern Business. Briefly details the history of the business from its foundation to the 1931 earthquake.
