About this object
Ink and pencil sketch depicting a heraldic gold lion enclosed in a circle of laurel leaves. The same design was used to create a plaque which was completed in 1925. There is a small pencil sketch in the bottom left corner indicating the lion emblem as the logo for the Napier Society of Arts Exhibition. There is a pencil rubbing in the bottom right corner. Attributed to Leo Bestall. Unsigned. Undated.
