Brief Description
Letter to Mr John William Coddington from J McEvery.
Mr McEvery is asking whether an elderly woman who was found dead, opposite the Majestic Theatre in Napier, may be poor Nell as her hair was prematurely grey. The writer then goes on to say that if John Coddington had seen her he would have been able to identify her. He writes that there is only pick and shovel work in Napier and that he is too old and stiff for that type of work now. Mr McEvery states that he will remain in Dannevirke.
