Watercolour on paper depicting the plant Olearia insignis also known as Pachystegia insignis, Marlborough rock daisy, Kaikoura rock daisy and rock tree daisy.

The plant is shrub-like with large dark green glossy leaves with silver felt-like undersides. The plant has white flowers with yellow heads.
