Watercolour on paper depicting several illustrations of the plant Braya novae-zelandiae.

To the left is a pencil sketch of a leaf. The plants in the centre and to the right have brown stems and roots, with clusters of white flowers.

The work is similar to a plant study by botanist and artist John Buchanan (circa 1865).
