About this object
Watercolour on paper depicting four different plant species. Each plant has been labelled with a number from one to four.

1 Aspidium riehardi. The plant has a fern like appearance with a fury narrow stem and several green fronds with small brown circles on each leaflet.

2 Asplenium bulbiferum [par: tripartium] also known as hen and chicken fern, pikopiko and mother spleenwort. The plant is fern like in appearance with a long narrow green stem and several green fronds with amber highlights.

3 Asplenium flaccidum also known as drooping spleenwort and hanging spleenwort. The plant has multiple slender fronds of green with amber highlights.

4 Lomaria membranacea. There are multiple examples of the plant clustered together varying in colours of brown, amber and green.
