About this object
Watercolour on paper depicting the plant Senecio myrianthos also known as Brachyglottis myrianthos.

The plant has long wiry brown branches, green leaves with prominent veins and white undersides. There are clusters of small white flower buds and blooming flower heads. In the bottom left corner are four detailed pencil sketches of the flower buds.
