Watercolour on paper depicting the plant Senecio latifolius also known as Senecio rufiglandulosus, pūhāureroa and pūwhāureroa.

The plant has wiry brown roots and large spear-shaped leaves in various shades of green. There is a cluster of yellow flower heads at the top of the plant.
