Watercolour on paper depicting the plant Senecio laxifolia also known as Nelson mountain groundsel.
The plant has a single brown stalk with several light grey-green leaves with white undersides. There are a number of daisy-like yellow flowers. In the bottom left corner is a small detailed painting of a yellow flower bud.
