About this object
Watercolour on paper depicting the plant Geranium traversii also known as Chatham Island geranium.

The plant has has grey-green stems and leaves entangled and clustered together. There are several light purple five petal flowers with yellow heads. In the bottom right corner are three detailed paintings of petals and flower buds.
