About this object
Watercolour on paper depicting several unidentified Australian plants clustered together. The plants are believed to be Australian orchids, lobelia and irises.

The plants have slender stems of green and brown-red which are entangled together. There are green-yellow leaves of various shapes and sizes. There are several blooming blue-purple flowers and a number of white flowers of various shapes and sizes. Some of the white flowers are daisy-like in appearance.
