My dear friend,
I write to you again; a ship has arrived with the queen of England’s representative on board, who is to become a Governer for us all. He has asked for a meeting to see the chiefs of New Zealand on Wednesday this coming week. I am asking you my friend, to come to my home at Waitangi to attend this meeting.
