Brief Description
Certificate from the Union Bank of Australia, Wellington, dated 20 January 1877.
The certificate states: We hereby certify that the balance due by this Bank to the late Sir Donald McLean on the fifth day of January instant amounted to the sum of One hundred & eight pounds six shillings & nine pence. The signature at the bottom of the certificate is illegible. The certificate is handwritten in black ink on a Memorandum form, with the word Memorandum crossed out, and Certificate written in its place. It is addressed to Kenkirk (unclear) McLean Esq.
