Brief Description
Plan of the Waihua Survey District road deviation through blocks 4, 5, 17 & 20, block 13 Waihua Survey District.
3 chains to the inch.

Shows survey peg marks, survey lines, the Waikare - Mohaka Coast Road and the proposed deviation. The Mohaka River is near the road, where a hotel is noted, possibly the Waikare Hotel. On one side of the road it is Wairoa County on the other is Mohaka County Council District.

R Sim - block 17 & 5 has land bordering the road and Mrs McIvor's land - block 20. A handwritten statement from Horace Baker says that the plan has been made from surveys and executed by him and that the plan is correct. Two signed statements by R Sim, with an additional signature from Sainsbury, Logan, Williams - Mortgagee and L T Frost - Lessee under Mr Sim's signature and E McIvor agreeing that the marked area can be taken for road usage and a signed statement from John Brown - chairman, on behalf of the Wairoa County Council consents to the land being taken for roading.
