Brief Description
Map engraved by James Wyld of New Zealand circa 1840. The map has both Māori and Pākehā names with detailed comments. The majority of detail is on the North Island from previous surveys, with little detail written on the South Island map other than Dusky Sound, Stewart Island and Nelson.
