Brief Description
Letter from J H Bethune, to Donald McLean, dated 21 November 1862.
Mr Bethune writes that Mr McLachlan has picked up the sheep from Mr Gillies; that Mr Strang has gone to Wanganui; that the ship Asterope may travel to England in the next month; and about political news in Wellington. There is a receipt for payment of McLean's account from 1859/60. The letter and receipt are attached at the top left corner with a metal eyelet.
