Brief Description
A sketch book filled with several drawings by Alice Webb who used the pen name Spider Web.

The sketch book is titled: History Illustrated by Spider Web (Alice Webb).

In the front of the book is a dedication to her Mother: Mother from Alice, July 30 1904. All by my lone, I done it.

There is an index of the drawings on the first page. An example of the illustrations within the sketch book are: The battle of Waterloo, minus the loo, which shows Mrs Webb giving the chooks water; The Ormondville organist; The life and death of a slabber and other stories about Ormondville life.

At the back is another dedication to her Mother: To her, who in my childhood days, Instructed me in many ways; Who said All learning you will find In Mangnalls Questions fill your mind! And still in my declining youth Imparts to me, much useful truth, For her, this nonsense I create. To her, this book I dedicate.
