Hastings Bacon Company Ltd (Vogtherr's) Limited Edition Christmas Card

Inside is a still-life painting by Barbara Muriel Forde entitled: Kohia, or the New Zealand passion vine. The information under the title records that the oil from the fruit was used by the Māoris as a base for concoctions with other plants in treating skin trouble. The stalks of the vine were used as fire sticks. The original painting is signed and numbered 54 of 150 prints.
