Brief Description
Unused photograph album with a black lacquer cover.

The front cover has a relief decoration of 6 birds perched on a tree branch with another flying in the air, made of shell and bone. Surrounding this are silver lines in a geometric pattern.

Inside, the pages have watercolour paintings of birds, landscapes and flowers handpainted on silk. There are threads placed diagonally to hold the photos in, at each corner. No photographs. Each page has room for 4 photographs.

Possibly Japanese or Chinese.
