Letter from Donald McLean, to Donald Ferguson, dated 6 January 1862.
Donald McLean writes that he has taken up the Crown Grant for the section: sold to you at Rangitikei and executed a conveyance in your favour on the back of it. The grant is now in the hands of Messrs Bethune & Hunter, who are instructed to give it to you when the balance due to me is paid to them by you. He finishes by writing: I hope Mrs Ferguson and you are well; and that your place is in a thriving and prosperous condition. (at Rangitikei)
