Letter from the Manager, Caesar Otway, Akitio Station, to Donald McLean, dated 23 August 1865.

The letter says that Mr Esdaile has not returned and asks Donald McLean to tell Bethune and Hunter not to send any stores, except for the rum, as Mrs Otway is so worried about the Pai Mārire that he is sending her and the children to Napier or Wellington.
