Letter and translation addressed to George Preece, Resident Magistrate of Napier from Mere Aperahama of Tahoraiti.
Part a - Letter written in Māori.
Part b - Translation of original letter. Aperahama writes to Preece asking for him to inform him of when the Court day is. He also wants to know the date the Court will sit and also the names of those who have taken their money for the railway at Palmerston. He asks Captain Preece for a quick reply.
