Memo to George Preece, Resident Magistrate of Napier from Horace Baker of the New Zealand Survey Department of Napier.
Baker writes regarding the surveying of the Waipawa Block. Mr Ellison claims compensation for loss of time on survey and of provisions, owing so he says to the obstruction of Tamihana Huatau to the survey of the piece of land to be taking in payment for the survey.
