Brief Description
Two identical copies of a poster by D Moule, circa 1919.

The poster presents the contribution of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force during the Great War. It shows the major military medals awarded during the conflict; insignia and badges of New Zealand units; principal engagements of New Zealand troops; statistics for dead, wounded and prisoners of war and the number of specific medals awarded to individuals.

The poster is illustrated with a picture of King George V and the New Zealand and British flags as well as pictures of the four highest-ranking New Zealand Generals: General Sir W R Birdwood, Major General Sir A H Russell, Major General E W C Chaytor and Lieutenant General Sir A J Godley.
