Telegram written to George Preece, Resident Magistrate of Napier from C T Benzoni, Assistant Under Secretary of the Native Office in Wellington. Benzoni acknowledges the receipt of Preece's letter dated 12 February and replies regarding land from Māori block two, three and four at Ruataniwha in Wairoa. Benzoni also asks whether the decision of the court has been given to those parties to whom the compensation is to be paid.
