Brief Description
Government memorandum written to George Preece, Resident Magistrate of Napier from James C Gavin, Secretary to the Treasury in Wellington. Gavin has forwarded Preece a memorandum stating that all Officers in possession of unexpended Imprest Money must repay it to the Public Account on or before 31 March 1883. Below this is a Notice to Imprestees under the Public Revenue Act of 1878. The notice addresses the same issue and is signed by H A Atkinson.
