Brief Description
Letter written to George Preece, Resident Magistrate of Napier from J W Morpeth, Acting Under Secretary of the Native Office in Wellington. Morpeth acknowledges the receipt of Mr Booking's letter dated 25 January which was forwarded by Preece on 16 February. Morpeth states that twelve copies of the Māori Hansard have been posted direct to Mr Brooking for use by local Māori in the Gisborne district.
