Brief Description
Memorandum and note from Richard Gill of the Land Purchase Branch of the Native Office in Wellington to George Preece, Resident Magistrate of Napier.
a) A memorandum in reference to the transfer of the Waikohu Matawai C block from Māori to Crown control. A note at the bottom states that the Crown does not pay any registration fees.
b) Attached to the memorandum is a note regarding payments made to Mr Carlyle, a Solicitor at Emerson Street, Napier. The note also states that two deeds for Te Ohu and Rakaiatai are at the Registry Office.
