Brief Description
Letter to George Preece, Resident Magistrate of Napier from John Brooking of Gisborne. Brooking writes regarding the election of a Native Assessor for the Arai District, that there may be some Māori residents within the boundaries of Te Reinga and Ruakituri but that it is difficult to communicate with that area. Brooking also asks that Preece forward copies of regulations to Wairoa for distribution.
