Brief Description
Letter from Matthew Scott of Waiotautu, Waiapu to Captain Preece, Resident Magistrate of Napier. The author writes that he has been in the extreme north of his district vaccinating Māori for small pox. His entire supply of tubes of vaccination were damaged in the mail. He notes that Māori from Te Kaha and Hicks Bay were requesting vaccination.
