A booklet entitled: Souvenir of the Visit of H.M.S. New Zealand to Napier.
Dated: Napier April 25, 26, 1913. It gives an overview of Napier including: Marine Parade, Sunshine; Municipal Baths; Clive Square; Botanical Gardens; William Nelson Park; Sir Donald McLean Park; Hospital; Inner harbour; Tutaekuri River; Hawke's Bay Motor Company; Cathedral; Napier Municipal Theatre; Napier Woollen Mills; J J Niven and Co Engineering Works; Timber mills; North British Freezing Works; Napier Gas Company. There is also a very brief description of Hastings.
It includes Napier's programme for the HMS New Zealand (Louis Hay was the conductor for the orchestra), Napier Orpheus Society and Ōmāhu Māori Choir. The booklet contains photographs. On the back cover is information about the HMS New Zealand and the ship's company or crew.
