Deed of Apprenticeship between Charles Dolbel the Younger and the Trustees of the Hawke's Bay United Friendly Societies Dispensary, Frank Bee and Frederick George Smith. His apprenticeship was to last four years, commencing 1 June 1899, during which time he was to learn the trade of a chemist and druggist.

The first page of the deed is a certificate marking the completion of Charles Dolbel's apprenticeship in 1903.
