Printed on othe side is: With Best Wishes for Christmas and the New Year and handwritten: with love from Riri. Blue Cliffs Station St Andrews, New Zealand is printed at the bottom.
The branding symbol for Bluecliffs Station is on the front cover. On the back is the following information: Owners of Blue Cliffs Station: H Poigndestre 1856, John Hayhurst 1866, Charles Meyer 1871, R H Rhodes 1879.
In 1921 R H Rhodes' daughter Airini married Dr P R Woodhouse, and a year or two later Dr Woodhouse became manager of the station which is held in trust for Airini Woodhouse and her children.
