A booklet with text in Māori, printed on a letterpress. The pages are folded but uncut, and there are two copies folded together. The text is the translation of a tract describing the service used by the Bishop of London to admit three Catholic priests as converts to the Church of England, published by William Colenso under his pseudonym Aroha Pono. William Colenso printed 500 copies in July 1842 at the Church Mission press as one of his private projects, published at his own expense.
