A booklet with text in Māori, printed on a letterpress and bound along the spine with string. The text is a translation of the first seven chapters of Daniel from the Old Testament, including the stories of the Burning Fiery Furnace, Belshazzar's Feast and the Lion's Den, and the book of Jonah. The booklet was translated by Mr W G Puckey, although it is sometimes attributed to William Colenso. The booklet is a reprint of: Ko nga Upoko eono o te Pukapuka a te Poropiti a Raniera, with the insertion of the seventh chapter of Daniel.
