Booklet, Ko Hohuai, and Ko Etahi atu Upoko o Tiuteronomi
A small booklet with text in Māori, printed on a letterpress and bound through the spine by string. The booklet has two sections. The sections are divided by a blank page. There is no title-page, date or imprint. The text is printed without " wh ".

The first section of the booklet, Ko Hohua, begins with: Upoko 1. A Muri iho i te matenga o Mohi o te pononga a Ihowa, na, ka korero mai a Ihowa ki a Hohua ki te tama a Nuna. Ko Hohua is a translation of parts of the book of Joshua Chapters 1-10, and Chapters 22-24, and the sixth book in the Old Testament, describing the occupation of the Promised Land under Joshua, Moses' successor. The book was redacted by the Deuteronomic school during the Babylonian Exile and is largely concerned with the elimination of Israel's enemies.

The second section of the booklet, Ko etahi atu upoko o Tiuteronomi, begins with: Upoko 13. Ki te wakatika mai i roto i a koe he poropiti he tangata moemoea ranei, aka ho mai e ia, ki a koe he tohu, he merekara ranei. Ko etahi atu upoko o Tiuteronomi is a translation of further chapters of Deuteronomy in two parts, Chapters 13-19 and Chapters 26-34. The edition was of two hundred copies. Copies were issued separately and also bound up in collections with other portions of the Old Testament translations.
