Me te mahi o nga Apotoro.
Booklet, text in Māori, printed in double columns. The booklet is divided into two sections, the first larger section printed in 1837 and the second small section printed in 1840. Each section has a short title which breaks the column in the page. In the first section, two different fonts are used, in the second section three different sizes of font are used. The whole booklet is bound along the spine by thread. The first four chapters of the first section of the book contains the life of Christ digested from the four Gospels, and the fifth chapter includes extracts from Acts:
pp 1-31 Ko te Rongo Pai i tuhituhia e nga kai wakaako o Ihu Karaiti me te Mahi a nga Apotoro (extracts from the Gospels, arranged in seventeen sections)
pp 32-48 Ko nga Merekara o to tatou ariki. (the miracles, arranged in twenty-one sections)
pp 49-78 Ko nga Kupu wakarite o Ihu Karaiti. (the parables, running on into the history, twenty-nine sections)
pp 78-96 Ko nga Matenga o to tatou Ariki. (the death of our Lord, occupying ten sections)
pp 97-120 Ko nga Mahi o nga Apotoro. (extracts from the Acts, in fifteen sections)
At the end of this section of the book is printed: New Zealand. Printed at the Wesleyan Mission Press, 1837

The second section of the book:
pp 1-5 He Katikihama, he aha, he aha. (fifty-one questions, with answers, in five chapters)
pp 6-12 He Katikihama ki nga ingoa o te Karaipiture (eighteen further questions). The second column of page 9 has the heading, Ko nga Ture o te Atua, introducing the Commandments and twenty-two questions and a prayer for children.
The second section of the book ends with: Mangungu: He mea ta i te perehi o nga mihanere weteriana o ingarani. 1840.
