A booklet titled: Ko tetahi wahi o te pukapuka a Ihaia a te poropiti. Imprint at end: No Paihia: He mea ta i te Perehi o nga Mihanere.

This is the first installent of Robert Maunsell's translation of the Old Testament into Māori. The text is from Deutero-Isaiah, chapters 49-55. This tract of Maunsell's is primarily about idolatry, illustrated by the evil of Babylon as mirrored by the 'New Babylon' (Rome) and the restoration of the Church.
