About this object
The photograph album belonged to Russell Duncan, and the photographs are ones he took to document three trips he took over the Napier-Taupo Road.

The photographs are from September 1896, October 1914 and April 1915. He travelled by horse and coach in 1896. He toured in two different makes of car, one was a Clemont-Talbot, 1914, the other a Vauxhall, 1915.
Media/Materials description
The black and white photographs are glued into an album containing cardboard pages. The cover is green with a leather spine and corners and there is gold lettering on the cover.
