Brief Description
Memorandum from George Glassford to the members of the Napier Harbour Board. George Glassford seeks permission for storing oysters in one of the spans at the western end of the Petane Bridge. This memorandum is written on printed letterhead paper which reads: From G Glassford, The Café, Napier.
The date on the memorandum appears to be 16 July 1892, however the month is partially obscured. A Napier Harbour Board stamp on the reverse of the memorandum is dated 15 February 1892.
