The Milestones photograph album was presented to:
J S Barton C.M.G. Commissioner for Napier Reconstruction by the Napier Borough Staff 15 May 1933.
On the back cover is written: Photographs by A B Hurst.
The photographs show the destruction caused by the earthquake and the subsequent reconstruction of Napier.
Photograph No: 12245 is a group signed portrait of Borough staff.
This is a special presentation volume - two were gifted.
