A booklet written by P W Barlow. Mr Barlow was an officer in the technical branch of the Land and Survey Department in 1931. He records his experiences during and after the Hawke's Bay earthquake of 3 February 1931 and describes how Napier was affected by the earthquake and the strategies put in place to rebuild the town.
