Brief Description
Manuscript as follows:
a) A handwritten draft of an academic paper on Moa bones by William Colenso titled: An account of some enormous fossil bones, of an unknown species of the class Aves, lately discovered in N. [New] Zealand. There are many annotations and additions in the margins.

b) - d) There are the loose-leaf papers numbered 1-3 inserted at page seven;

e) a typed label.

On the back cover is a list of Māori words relating to flora and fauna.
