Brief Description
Minutes of a meeting of the Hawke's Bay Philosophical Institute held at the Athenaeum on 18 November 1879. It was resolved that the Honorary Secretary (William Colenso) be requested to write to the Board of Governors of the New Zealand Institute to ask them to apply to the Government for an increase of the yearly grant for publication. Also, to enquire of the Board of Governors of the New Zealand Institute about several queries arising from their Regulations regarding Publication viz Abstract of Rules and Statutes Section I., No.5.
